Kaizen Lab Jiujitsu specialises in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, also known as BJJ. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling and ground fighting, emphasising the use of leverage and technique to defeat opponents of greater size and strength. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu does not focus on striking such as punches or kicks but instead uses joint locks, pins and submissions to subdue an opponent.

We offer specially designed martial arts classes such as fundamentals, all levels, nogi (rashguard and shorts) classes, all levels Gi (kimono), and women-only classes are available. These beginner programs are structured to teach fundamental techniques while incorporating self-defence skills. 

No special uniforms or Gi’s are required to try our classes.

Mixed martial arts, also known as MMA, is a unique combination of elements of Boxing, Karate, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Wrestling. Our martial arts classes are designed for those looking to get fit and reach their fitness goals – all while learning practical self-defence skills.

Join our empowering women-only self-defence classes at Kaizen Lab Jiujitsu where classes are designed for women and taught by women. Experience a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where you can build fitness and confidence with our specially designed curriculum tailored to women’s bodies and abilities.

Classes are suitable for beginners and no special equipment is required to get started.
